I find beauty in the everyday, in weathered floors, plants growing through cracks, or the light shifting over a sidewalk. Whether working in oil or gouache, on location or in the studio, I try to make space for the small stories we usually pass by. I don’t paint to explain but to invite curiosity and the feeling that something here matters.
Working with Me
My commission work primarily consists of custom paintings that bring personal stories, cherished places, and meaningful moments to life. Whether it’s a beloved landscape, a favorite object, or a portrait infused with emotion, I work closely with clients to create artwork that resonates deeply.
Commissioning a piece is a collaborative process. I take the time to understand your vision, whether you have a clear idea or just a feeling you want to capture. My approach blends thoughtful observation with expressive detail, ensuring that each painting holds a unique presence.
Here’s what to expect when commissioning a piece:
Consultation – We’ll discuss your ideas, reference images, and the mood or story you want the piece to convey.
Concept & Sketches – I provide preliminary sketches or composition ideas to align on direction.
Painting Process – I bring the concept to life with careful attention to texture, color, and light.
Final Review & Delivery – You’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback before the finalization and delivery.
